The Name is Bond, Ionic Bond (TpT - FREE): This was my very first TpT product. It's been downloaded 100s of times. It's also a free download. It has students go through tons of practice with ionic bonds. A bit overkill but it works. Nice worksheet if you happen to need a sub one day.
Atomic Puzzle: Element Names and symbols (TpT): Break your routine and have students complete an educational puzzle! 12 square puzzle pieces fit together by matching element symbols and names. It's a great activity for helping students become familiar with elements on the periodic table! I printed the puzzle out on colored card stock and laminated it so I can use it year after year. I stick each puzzle set in a plastic baggy and then put them all together in a manilla envelope to store until next year. Don't forget the FREE directions!
Atomic Puzzle: Matching element name, symbol, etc (TpT): I love these puzzles! Student tend to enjoy them too! This Atomic Puzzle challenges students to put together a small puzzle by matching sides that represent the same element. The sides vary from element name, symbol, atomic number, atomic mass, the number of protons the element has, to a diagram of the element. This puzzle is considered medium in difficulty. Don't forget the FREE directions!
VSauce: You can't touch anything Video: I get the most student responses from this video. It baffles them that they aren't actually touching anything. But, be prepared, you will here a lot of but im not actually touching it" after this video.
